The Lac qui Parle County Environmental Office is pleased to announce it has started a rechargeable battery recycling program!
We are partnering with Call2Recycle to offer this service for Lac qui Parle County residents and have placed a collection box inside the East entrance of the courthouse in Madison. The courthouse is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Please see the flyer below for more details on the types of rechargeable batteries currently accepted. We are also gauging resident’s interest in recycling other types of batteries. We will look to offer additional battery recycling services in the future if there is determined to be a need.
